Welcome to My Home Sweet 2nd Home Daycare!

We are a Reggio Emilia inspired State Licensed Family Daycare located in Columbia, Md. We strive to instill a love for learning in each and every child. Our goal at My Home Sweet 2nd Home Daycare is to make the children in our care feel at home! We believe there is so much more to caring for children than just "watching them". Our philosophy is to enrich children's lives with creative arts and accredited educational materials while developing self esteem, confidence and a sense of independence. Many parents would like to stay home with their child, but due to different circumstances are unable to do so. This is why I believe family Child Care is the best care option you can provide for your child. We believe in the Reggio Emilia approach to educate young children; where an emergent curriculum is used that builds upon the own interest of the children as well as providing a rich, stimulating and well organized environment.
